  • Sandra Hannebohm

    Sandra Hannebohm is a journalist, digital producer and owner of Twice As Good, a Black multimedia newsletter that helps you better engage with the news by slowing down. She also hosts and produces The Lion's Roar Podcast from Lion's Roar magazine.

  • Tiffany Lam

    Tiffany Lam (she/they) currently works at TVO as a podcast producer. Tiff got her start in audio production at a campus-community radio station. They started at TVO producing The #onpoli podcast with Steve Paikin and John Michael McGrath, but these days, they're focused on seeing through a narrative limited series on youth mental health care -- their first time hosting! Prior to TVO, Tiff worked at Canadaland, where she produced the company's federal politics podcast and opinion chat show. Tiff helped to develop The Backbench from conception to launch.

  • Shireen Ahmed

    Shireen Ahmed is a multi-platform Senior Contributor with CBC Sports, a TEDx speaker, a valued mentor, and an award-winning sports activist who focuses on the intersections of racism and misogyny in sports. She is a global expert on Muslim women in sport. Shireen is the co-creator and co-host of the “Burn It All Down” feminist sports podcast team, and teaches Sports Journalism and Sports Media at Toronto Metropolitan University, in Toronto, Canada. She is happily married, has four amazing kids and a phenomenal cat. She drinks coffee as a tool of resistance.
